2011 Silicon Valley Long Course: 6th in AG This year I opted to partake in the 1st Silicon Valley Long Course held on June 11th. I was definitely excited about doing this distance. This was my second time undertaking a long course distance, the first one was my last race of the 2010 season: Scott Tinley's Adventures 2010. 2011 Golden Gate Triathlon: 1st in Age Group! What a gorgeous day in San Francisco for a race! The agenda for the day was the Golden Gate Triathlon hosted by TriFreaks. This would be my first time at this race and first event by the TriFreaks organization. Although it was not an Alcatraz swim (which I absolutely love and need to determine when I can do one this year), it did include a swim in the bay off of Chrissy Field. The bike was 25.83 miles consisting of 6 loops around the Presidio area, down Lincoln Blvd and all the way back up. And the best part was...
