Back to back triathlons presents an interesting training dilemma so I decided to take a different approach for this one as compared to Alcatraz. I did moderate-to-light class/training loads Monday - Thursday and some light stuff on Friday and today as indicated below.
- June 19: Power Yoga: 60 min. Taught class
- June 20: Master Swim Class: 1:10h. 3300 yrd. Moderate intensity
I did not do a carbo-load program. If anything, I think I ate too much on the days leading up to Alcatraz and definitely ate too much on the race day morning. So I maintained a regular eating pattern this week and will take it much lighter tomorrow AM. We shall see how this approach works out!! :-)
